Chitosan is a biopolymer derived from chitin. It non-toxic, biocompatible, bioactive, and biodegradable polymer. Due to its properties, chitosan has found applications in several different fields such as agriculture, food industry, medicine, paper fabrication, textile water treatment. In addition these good film-forming ability which allows it be widely used for the development of sensors biosensors. This review focused on use formulation electrochemical chemosensors. also aims provide an overview advantages using immobilization platform biomolecules by highlighting Finally, chitosan-based chemosensors biosensors safety are illustrated.
